PoopTracker: Gut Health AI Analysis ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Name and email address when you sign in with Apple or Google.
• Health Data: Bristol Scale type, color, volume, consistency, and notes you enter voluntarily.
• Profile Information: Age, gender, weight, height, water intake, exercise habits, sleep duration, and health notes you provide.
• Usage Data: App usage patterns and analytics data to improve the app experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide personalized AI-powered gut health analysis and recommendations.
• To authenticate your account securely via Apple Sign In or Google Sign In.
• To store your health data securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL).
• To send you health reminders and notifications (only if you enable them).
• To improve our app features and user experience.

3. AI Analysis

PoopTracker uses Anthropic's Claude AI API (including Claude Vision) to power its health analysis features:

• Text Analysis: Your profile and health data are sent to Claude AI to generate personalized nutrition, hydration, sleep, and exercise recommendations.
• Photo Analysis (Claude Vision): If you choose to take a photo for Bristol Scale detection, that image is sent to Anthropic's Claude Vision API for analysis. Images are not stored by Anthropic and are processed solely to identify the Bristol Stool Type.

Anthropic processes this data according to their Privacy Policy. Your data is not used to train AI models. We only send the minimum necessary data to provide analysis.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on servers in the European Union. We implement Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure you can only access your own data. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with:

• Supabase: For secure data storage and authentication.
• Anthropic: For AI-powered health analysis (anonymized where possible).
• RevenueCat: For managing subscriptions and purchases.
• Analytics providers: For app usage analytics (anonymized).

6. Subscriptions

PoopTracker offers monthly and yearly Premium subscriptions. Subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not store your payment information. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

7. Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your data within the app.
• Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile settings.
• Export: You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.
• Opt-out: You can disable notifications at any time from the app settings.

8. Children's Privacy

PoopTracker is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Health Disclaimer

PoopTracker is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The AI-generated recommendations are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a healthcare provider for medical concerns.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
