At Moneyo ("we", "our", "the app"), we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains what data is collected when you use our application, how it is used, and how it is protected.

2. Data We Collect

Moneyo collects the following data to provide its services:

• Account information: Email address (for registration and login)
• Financial data: Income and expense records, budget plans, financial goals (all entered manually by the user)
• Usage data: App usage statistics, crash reports
• Device information: Device type, operating system version, notification token (for push notifications)

Moneyo does not access your bank account information and does not establish direct connections with any financial institution. All financial data is entered manually by the user.

3. How We Use Your Data

Collected data is used solely for the following purposes:

• Account creation and authentication
• Providing income/expense tracking, budget planning, and financial goal features
• Sending push notifications (with user permission)
• Improving app performance and detecting errors
• Subscription management

4. Third-Party Services

Moneyo uses the following third-party service providers:AI Data Processing: When you use the AI receipt scanning or AI financial analysis features, your financial transaction data and uploaded receipt/statement images are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI service for processing. This data is used solely to read and categorize your transactions and generate financial insights. Anthropic processes this data according to their privacy policy and does not use your data to train AI models. You will be asked for explicit consent before any data is sent to the AI service. You can withdraw this consent at any time from the app settings.

• Supabase: Authentication and data storage
• RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase management
• Expo Push Notifications: Notification delivery
• Analytics service: Anonymous usage statistics

These service providers process data under their own privacy policies. Your data is never shared with or sold to third parties for advertising purposes.

5. Data Security

Your data is protected using industry-standard encryption methods. It is stored on secure servers within the Supabase infrastructure. SSL/TLS encryption is used during data transmission.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. You can delete your account from the Settings section within the app.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access your personal data and request information about its processing
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to automated decision-making based on your data
• Know which third parties your data has been shared with
• Data portability where applicable

8. Children's Privacy

Moneyo is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 13.

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through in-app notifications or email.
